A very movie! The acting was top notch. Jacques Bergerac was one handsome dude. Surprised he didn't become a bigger star. Came too late after Boyer. Mala Powers was a good actress. Another one that didn't become a major star. Such is life. I think the movie deserves to be a film noir movie though quite late. The real period of film noir was from the forties up to about the mid-fifties when the golden age of Hollywood was pretty much over.
