Synopsis
Night riders are terrorizing homesteaders, and the town doctor tries to keep the locals from forming a vigilante group. After more towns people are killed, however, the rest of the town makes the doctor the town sheriff and tells him to clean up the gang.

While technically a well crafted film with a good sharp print, this is as dull and talkie a "western" as ever been made. Tom Keene is his earnest self. David Sharpe gets to emote, rather than do stunts. Only Budd Buster brings some life to this in a serio-comedic way. Robert Fiske and John Merton play their usual oily villian roles quite well. Matthew Betz as the chief henchman has had better roles previous to this. He is wasted here as well. Lots of other familar faces in the cast. Only for Tom Keene fans with a lot of patience.
