Synopsis
Red Mathews and his gang are out to stop the railroad from coming to Coyote Gulch. When gunslinger Thunderbolt arrives in town, Banker Wingate tries to get him to take the job of kicking the gang out of town. Attracted to Judy Lane he accepts. He Succeeds once but is then captured just as the gang rides to town to break up the ceremony honoring the railroad president.

One of the silliest westerns I have ever seen. Ken Maynard plays a moron who pretends to be a tough guy so people will leave him alone. After his partner Frank Rice tells the town folk "The Phantom Thunderbolt" is a terror, he rides into town guns ablazing. He goes to the cafe where the love-at-first-sight pretty owner, Frances Lee, tells him the place is closed and he immediately goes into his polite, tongue-tied, flustered in the presence of a pretty woman routine.
