This gets a 4 Stars <3 Betty Boop is babysitting her nephew junior! he is being a bad boy and wont go to bed, so betty tells him a story which he defiantly belives Dark moon you cannot say that an infant wouldnt belive becuse its a cartoon these characters are not real, the studios who produced these cartoons could have done whatever storyline they had wished. just becuse the pre hays code had came in doesnt mean betty boop should be all about sex, sex and more sex... i think its great that they tamed betty boop i liked her past days as a vaudiville singer, but come on now like if she could…

Post-Hays code, some Fleischer cartoons began to "take the moral high-ground," and attempted to show children the consequences of misbehavior. This trend is especially to be seen in many of the Color Classics, but they had the Boopster doing it too, in a few episodes like this one. I do not much enjoy preachy cartoons; for me, they take on an aspect of propaganda. While many of them threaten ridiculous consequences that an infant wouldn't believe, this one, at least, has a valid message: If you antagonize enough people, eventually one of them will bite back.
