Synopsis
Henry (of comic strip fame) wants to buy Pudgy the Pup at Betty Boop's Pet Shop, but he only has two cents. Betty offers to take the rest in work, but lives to regret the arrangement.

This piece combines two comic styles: the pantomime of Henry, a well-known newsprint character who was depicted in the funny papers with no mouth, a sort of India ink Harpo Marx; and the well-known vaudeville-flavored vocal stylings of Betty Boop. Only the Fleischers could pull something like this off, certainly Disney couldn't have in those days.
