Synopsis
The goings on of a few members of a radio show's audience is the premise for this feature film derived from the popular ABC radio show of the 1940s. This film features Tom Breneman, the radio show's host, as well as Bonita Granville, Beulah Bondi, Zasu Pitts, Billie Burke and Hedda Hopper. Musical performances are provided by Nat King Cole and the King Cole Trio, along with Spike Jones and his City Slickers.

What a delightful movie! Comedy, romance, music, old time Hollywood and wonderful Tom Breneman. "Breakfast in Hollywood" gains in stature as time distances us from a long ago period. Besides Breneman, Don McNeill's Breakfast Club (out of Chicago) was a weekday morning radio program, which my family enjoyed. Tom Breneman's show had a listening audience of 10 million, which was quite large since the USA population was 140 to 150 million during the time his program was aired.

Bulah Bondi, who played the old woman wasn't old at this time .. she played old ladies well. She won an Emmy for her roll on the Waltons.This is a great movie,, and the lady who won the make-over, was also married to Flo Ziefield, and was Glenda ,the good witch of the north, Billie Burke.
