Jack Perrin and all the other actors sound as if their reading from prompt cards - stiff, matter-of-fact and boring. Plus, the "star" Perrin has all the charisma of a clam. IMDb says Ellen Mack was in 53 films between 1917-41, often as a comic character - here the best she can do is look pretty. The only person who isn't reading from s card is Snowflake (Fred Toones) who is unfortunately here as a racial stereotype of the day the "yassa, massa" type, afraid of his own shadow, who carries a straight razor for protection.
