Some of these westerns got turned out with a cookie cutter - this is one of them. Upstanding saloon owner and horse trader Earl Dwire is as crooked as they come. He cheated Archie Ricks (Tombstone Kid) and now he's busy trying to cheat Jack C. Smith (Dad Reed) out of his horses and his property and winds up cheating Tex and Smith and having Smith jailed. And, he almost gets Tex jailed, twice. Tex, meanwhile, has fallen in love with Jerry Bergh (Jean Reed) and he is now really interested in clearing up all the problems.
