Episode 1 of Kimbar of the Jungle - The Lion Men starring a young Steve Reeves - he sure was handsome and well-built in 1949. Typical cookie-cutter type plot is set up - beautiful girl is searching for lost father and his uranium discovery - local villages threatened by "lion men" - they sure can roar. Local authority seems cool and collected - butterfly hunter could be good or bad guy. Chimpanzee os Kimbar's friend - Kimbar is protective of the jungle beasts - and they seem to listen to him. Take it from there. Unfortunately, there aren't any more episodes available.
