Synopsis

While it was packed with cliché plot devices, this fast paced 'old house' mystery kept my attention for all 60 minutes. I like these old mysteries. Typical setup: Rich head of household disappears and best detective around is called in to solve it, then the mystery deepens. The directing was a bit off at times or maybe it was the editing or both, but the acting was Ok. The leads, James Dunn and Joan Woodbury, work well together. I always enjoy seeing J.
