Synopsis
Meline is taking money from his own bank to drill an oil well. When he finds Doug Redfern's bandana, he has his gang rob his bank and uses the bandana to frame Doug. When Doug is convicted but immediately paroled, Meline has another plan that he thinks will put him away permanently.

Bob Steele (Doug Redfern) wants Kathleen Elliot (Joan Blackman), the sheriff's daughter - so does sleazy banker Karl Hackett (Harvey Meline), who has been robbing his own bank to finance his oil drilling. So, aside from the sleazy banker theme, the Steele catches banker theme, the Steele courts Elliot theme and the what's up with Horace Murphy theme. Its all been done before, but at least the principles put some energy into it. All in all suspension of disbelief only goes so far with this one.
