Synopsis
When Tex is brought in to fight in a range war between the cowmen and the nesters, he meets his old outlaw boss Lassiter. He learns Lassiter is behind the feud when Lassiter asks him to join up with his gang. Tex refuses and instead sets out to stop the feud but no one will believe him that Lassiter is responsible.

When Tex Ryan goes over to his uncle's ranch to help him out, he finds out his Uncle has died because of the feud between the ranchers and the cowboy folk. Ryan refuses to take sides (sort of) and somewhat gets the two to realize that a former compadre of his is behind this so called war. Even though Bob Steele is remarkably good looking (and has plenty of hair goo), his acting here is subpar, which ranges just about remotely interested, which is surprising, as Mr Steele certainly knew how to act if he wanted to, but the material here is tired and somewhat confusing and therefore the film…

Good, tight western with better than usual acting from Bob Steele as a bad guy who turns good and solves the problem of the villain playing both sides of the fence to his own advantage. I have to go with the first reviewer's comments. Marion Weldon is okay as the film's attractive - love at first sight - obligatory woman. Perennial villain Karl Hackett is his on-screen usual oily, detestable self. The basic premise of the plot - villain pitting two groups against each other - is a nice twist and there are a few more that keep the movie interesting. And, there is enough action - fist fights…
