Synopsis

When a band of American Indians breaks a treaty with the federal government, U.S. Marshals Ken Maynard and Hoot Gibson hit the trail with captured outlaw Duke Dillon (Jack La Rue) to find out what sparked the uprising. They discover clues that point to corrupt Indian agent John Hampton (Kenneth Harlan), but meanwhile, the bandit Dillon pulls a fast one on the marshals, and soon everybody's getting ready for a showdown.

Its hard to believe how stupid Ken Maynard and Hoot Gibson as U.S. Marshals are forced to be by both script and direction, but here it is. Gibson keeps coming up with stupid ideas - ideas that may be good, but don't play out as envisioned - and Maynard keeps following them, no matter how often the fail. Here they put their trust in a double-dealing criminal, who double deals them again and again - as well as double-dealing other crooks. And, how many times can these two guys watch action unfold and comment on it before acting - "Looks like trouble Hoot." "Well we better get into it Ken. Let/s…
