Movies like this are just as important as the great films. Many amazing directors and actors have had films and work from art school etc shown. It provides a history of evolution of film. Some "bad" movies are so bad they are good. This attitude of not preserving old film and tv because "you" don't like it is the exact reason we had so many films, the stock, television programs like Dr Who destroyed to make room.

The opening scene is really well written, directed, and acted. Easy to follow exposition leading to the first plot point at 2:20. Pulls the viewer right in. I enjoyed this whacky flick.

When I was a kid back in the 1960s movies like this would be on the late show on Saturday nights, and we would stay up with a bowl of popcorn and a rootbeer, and a movie like this. It's not a great movie but a fun one. And the opening is toe tapping. So grab a bowl of popcorn and a rootbeer, and enjoy. PS it was made in my home state of Texas.

It's amazing how some random thing, innocent as it may be, drives the rabble to hysteria. Quite a few people here are exercised by this movie. Okay, it's not Citizen Kane. But the first minute of the hip-swinging baton-twirling cheerleader is one of the great moments of all American cinema, and deserves recognition, if not an outright Oscar.

If you were an evil Nazi scientist who wanted to bring Hitler back to life, what would be your ideal location for a secret underground laboratory? Why the middle of Texas, of course. Is this a good movie? Absolutely not! Is it a must for bad movie lovers? Definitely! All you need to know about the plot is there is one. All you need to know about the acting is there is a little. True lovers of atrocious film making (and the occasional masochist) will watch this thing from beginning to end. Weaklings should - after watching the baton twirling exhibition - fast forward to the nightclub scene.…

He should be in the credits. It's a bogus movie, badly acted and directed, and set in Texas. Carol Gilley, Bill Thurman, Robert Bob Kelly, Bob Brown, Patrick Cranshaw and Charles McLine all went on to work for the Schlockmeister. Had the same feeling of of deja-vu on "Night Fright." I gave an extra star for the Mad Scientist. If I had to choose a single example of "Nazi Mad Scientist" out of all the B movies I've ever seen, THIS would be it. Apologies to the ghost of Peter Sellers, but this old coot manages to edge out Dr. Strangelove!
