Back in the mid '80's, I taped this off of the Satellite Program Network (aka SPN) in the middle of the night in Beta. My copy was much more chopped up than this, but I enjoyed watching it over and again a few times. I thought it had been on the Archive before and that I had reviewed it then but I could be wrong about that. IMDb says it was a 58 minute movie, out of which we get 45 minutes - so, the plot is seriously chopped, but simple enough that it can still be followed. But, that's a lot of missing footage and story. The acting is terrible - it is everything we have come to expect of the often wooden acting in the first talkies - reminds you of a bad school performance. Well, actually 12 year old Virginia Ashcroft (Sally Wilson) is a natural - and gives us the best acting of the movie.
