The film was released just a few short weeks after Pearl Harbor was attacked and the USA was into WW2. Hal Brazeale, in his last film, probably due to war-time duty, plays a young "George O'Brien type" Easterner in a trouble-plagued lumber camp with a new government contract. Marjorie Reynolds is top billed as the daughter of the firms owner. She had been in "B"'s for a few years and is quite effective here and would have a long career in films and television. Monte Blue and J. Farrell McDonald are also top billed old pros with not a lot to do. Especially McDonald in a throwaway role.…

Not a bad movie, average " B. " The flag waving was a little heavy. I liked the scenery. Acting pretty bad but I've seen worse.
