Synopsis
Barrington's men rob the bank and hide the gold in a ghost town. The ghost town's only citizen finds the gold and tries to use it to bet on a boxing match. Seeing the gold, the Mesquiteers rush to the ghost town and recover the rest of it. They need to get it to the bank before it opens but Barrington's men stand in the way.

i remember seeing this western when i was a kid. thr three mesquiteers were very popular i the 1930's and were great action and fun to watch. this trio included bob livingston as stoney brook and he was soon replaced by john wayne before he really hit the big time. ray corrigan was later to become rich when he opened the corriganville ranch where many a western movie was shot. the mesquiteer western made movies for a long time at republic studios with many cast changes.they were the best trio of cowboys of all time.this movie was among their best.

Very entertaining "Three Mesquiteers" movie with some novel and amusing events and twists. Robert Livingston, Ray Corrigan and ventriloquist Max Terhune run down the bad guys who have robbed the town bank of the townspeople's money. And, they have to find and return the funds before the mad-as-hell depositers take some drastic vengeance on banker Burr Caruth (Ben Thornton). But first we meet a ditzy old codger Milburn Morante (Jake Rollins) in a ghost town and get to see Corrigan in a boxing match with Frank Hagney (Wild Man Kamatski). This film is not the first "Three Mesquiteers" by Ray Taylor. This is Ghost-Town Gold by Joseph Kane also released in 1936. A very poor episode in the Three mesquiteers serie, it does however include a Boxing match were one of the mesquiteers uses a gun to ring the bell earlier. Saved the film for me.
